This all new 3mm steel from CCM features added height and better edge life with their oxide treatment.
CCM has switched to 3mm blades now as more and more goalies have been switching to it, promoting better bite in the ice allowing you to make consistent, powerful pushes. Not only are these blades now 3mm, but CCM has also added 2mm in height to the blade (a 9% increase), providing longer overall life and a greater attack angle. These runners are also coated with an oxide treatment to promote longer life between sharpening and added resistance to corrosion.
