Here are some tips make sure that the skin where you're going to put it is dry. Take a little piece of tape and fold the bottom of colostomy bag up vertically and tape it to the top of wafer where the filter is, then drain the bag well before doing so that it would be thinner. Dry off with a towel and then take your blow dryer on low cool setting and blow dry all around your ileostomy bag.
